Bradford, PA -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's wrestling team had one of its members recognized by the AMCC on Monday, as D.J. Slovick was named the AMCC's Wrestler of the Week
Slovick won his only match of the week, but in doing so reached a milestone that the program has not seen before. Slovick's pin at 3:30 was his 100th career victory. The winningest wrestler in program history, Slovick's record is now 100-41, including 43 wins in 52 dual matches. He has recorded 51 wins by pin, 15 by major decision, and 8 by technical fall.
Slovick and the rest of the Pitt-Bradford wrestling team will be back in action next weekend at the Jamestown Open.
