Hugh Kennedy joined the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford as the Assistant Sports Information Director in December of 2025.
Kennedy has been a part of the Pitt-Bradford community for most of his life due to his parents both holding staff positions throughout his upbringing and his mother Kara, still working in the Student Affairs office. He graduated from Pitt-Bradford in 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Communications and in the fall of that same year worked temporarily in the university's Admissions office.
Alongside his resposibilities as Assistant SID, Kennedy prides himself with being the voice of Smethport High School sports on a local radio station, WXMT The Mountain.
