Bradford, PA -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's volleyball team had two players recognized by the AMCC on Tuesday. Lillian Bentley and Alycia Wilson each earned spots on the All-Conference list, with Bentley making the first team and Wilson making the third team.
Bentley, a sophomore right-side hitter from Portville, NY, is the first Panther to receive First Team All-AMCC Honors since 2022. Bentley finished the season 3rd in the AMCC in kills, 5th in kills per set, and 17th in hitting percentage and blocks per set. She totaled 321 kills, 36 aces, 50 blocks, and a .159 hitting percentage this season. She had double-digit kills in 18 games, with a game high of 20. Bentley, who transferred to Pitt-Bradford from Houghton, was a first-team All-Empire 8 performer last season.
Wilson, a junior from Portland, OR, makes her second appearance on the AMCC All-Conference list, as she previously earned second-team honors as a freshman at Wells. Wilson tallied 240 kills, 346 digs, 20 blocks, and 48 aces. She was 12th in the AMCC in kills, 15th in kills per set, 10th in digs, and 8th in aces.
The Panthers finished the season 18-11 and secured the 6th seed in the AMCC Tournament, going 4-4 in conference play. They lost to #3 Penn State Behrend in the first round of the tournament, bringing their campaign to a close.
