Bradford, PA -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Volleyball program saw one of its players recognized for their performance last week as Lillian Bentley was named AMCC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Bentley recorded 31 kills and averaged 4.43 kills per set in a 1-1 week for the Panthers. Bentley had 15 kills and 11 digs in a 3-1 loss to Behrend, then recorded 16 kills, four digs and four blocks in a 3-0 win over Carlow. For the week she totaled 31 kills, four aces, 15 digs and seven total blocks, averaging 5.6 points per set for the Panthers.
This is the third time this season a Panther has been named AMCC Player of the Week. Libero Danielle Sasuga has previously wonteh defensive award twice. Bentley is the first Panther to win Offensive Player of the Week since the 2022 season.
Bentley and the rest of the Panthers will be back on the road this week, as they have a pair of crucial conference matches. They will be in Buffalo on Tuesday to take on Hilbert, before heading to Mount Aloysius on Saturday for a contest with the conference leaders.
