PITTSBURGH - The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's volleyball team's season came to an end with a 3-1 loss at LaRoche College on Saturday afternoon.
The Panthers fell 25-17 in the first set, before taking the second set 25-18. La Roche added a 25-29 victory in the third set and then edged the Panthers 26-24 to earn the 3-1 victory.
Alexis Dhayer was terrific for the Panthers, leading the team with 11 kills and 12 digs while Mandy Finch racked up 10 kills and 14 digs. Alma Turpin added eight kills and eight digs while Kirsten Platz finished with five kills and one block. Jenessa Ceprish chipped in with 13 digs in the loss.
Pitt-Bradford finished the season with an overall record of 11-16, including a 4-5 mark in the AMCC.
