Volleyball Hosting Annual Dig Pink Game on Wednesday Night

BRADFORD, Pa. - The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's volleyball team will host their annual Dig Pink game on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. against Keuka College in the KOA Arena.

The team will be selling pink t-shirts for $20 each and all proceeds will benefit the Side-Out Foundation.

The Side-Out Foundation was created in 2004 to honor Gloria Dunetz, the mother of a volleyball coach.  Gloria passed away in August, 2010, and her memory will always inspire the organization to forge ahead for new research.

Dig Pink is sponsored by the Side-Out Foundation and promotes national breast cancer awareness during the month of October. This will be the seventh year in a row the Panthers have taken part in the event to raise money for research and finding a cure for the deadly disease.

Funds raised for The Side-Out Foundation go directly to its own cutting-edge clinical trials at renowned medical institutions. These unique trials are successfully extending the lives of people with stage four breast cancer. Through Dig Pink and other programs.
