Bradford, PA -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's lacrosse team saw a player selected as defensive player of the week for the second consecutive time, as goalkeeper Lily Thuman won the honor on Monday.

Thuman, a freshman from Buffalo, NY, won her second AMCC Athlete of the Week award after going 2-0 in goal for the Panthers. She stopped 58.3% of the shots she faced in wins over Elmira and Thiel. She allowed just one goal in three periods to Elmira, and then four against Thiel.

Thuman currently leads the AMCC in total saves, and is 3rd in save percentage and goals-against average. 

The Panthers will be back in action on Saturday, as they host Alfred University at 4:00 p.m.
