Bradford, Pa. -- After a dominating performance at the Red Flash Invitational, Brookelyn Garvey of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford bowling team was named AMCC Bowler of the Week on Wednesday evening.

Garvey was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Red Flash Invitational after leading the Panthers to a 6-7 record and ninth-place finish among Division I and II teams over the weekend. In the Traditional Format, she had the third-highest average of the event, with a 203.6. She also posted the highest score of the event with a 265 in the Panthers opening win over Penn State-Altoona. She also finished with a 17.11 pin per frame average in Baker for the rest of the weekend.

Garvey is the second Panther to be named Bowler of the Week this season.

Garvey and the rest of the Panthers will be back in action this weekend when they host the 2nd AMCC Round Robin of the season at Billye Lanes in Bradford. Spectators will not be permitted at the event, however, live streams of every match are available to watch on the Pitt-Bradford athletics website and AMCC.tv.
