Bradford, PA – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is primed to begin their 2025-26 campaign as it looks to earn a third straight trip to the postseason.
The Panthers went 4-19 in the first season under Mell Benson, but were able to pick up 3 wins in AMCC play, earning the 6th and final spot in the Championship Tournament.
The Panthers will have a new look in 2025-26, as only 2 healthy players from last season's rotation return. Amber Murak will lead the team after averaging 12.4 points per game as a freshman. Raquell Sewell returns to provide an inside presence for the Panthers, while Abby Goss is back after a season away from the program.
Pitt-Bradford will rely heavily on a large group of newcomers as it looks to replace the majority of its scoring from last season. Transfer Dalayla Alexander provides some collegiate experience as she joins the program from Finger Lakes Community College. Joy McBean, Stacy Sequiera, and Ella Gettings are promising newcomers who will have a big part in the playing rotation.
The Panthers will begin their campaign on Friday, November 7th, at Houghton. They will have their first home game on Wednesday, the 12th, against Geneva. AMCC Play will begin on December 3rd against Hilbert.
In the annual AMCC Preseason Coaches Poll, the Panthers were predicted to finish 7th, in a tie with Pitt-Greensburg.
