Amberman Named United East Offensive Player of the Week

Bradford, PA -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's lacrosse team was recognized by the United East on Monday as freshman attacker Luke Amberman was named the conference's Offensive Player of the Week.

Amberman was unstoppable on Saturday as he led Pitt-Bradford to a win in its inaugural United East game at Cairn. The Freshman attacker scored the 2nd most goals in a game in all of NCAA DIII this season when he scored 12 times against the Highlanders. He put 18 shots on target, added 1 assist and registered one ground ball.

This is the first player of the week award for Amberman. He becomes the 3rd Panther to earn a weekly honor from the United East, and the program's first offensive player to be recognized.

The Panthers will be back in action on Thursday, April 16th, when they travel to Pittsburgh to take on La Roche.
