Bradford, PA -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's lacrosse team had its goalie recognized by the United East for the second time this season, as Hunter Shank was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Shank Hunter Shank made 43 saves at a 63.2% rate in a 1-1 week for Pitt-Bradford. He also tallied 3 ground balls and 2 caused turnovers. In the win over Augustana, he made 21 saves on 27 shots, while also picking up his first career assist. 

This is the second United East Player of the Week award for Shank this season. He currently leads the conference in Goals Against Average, Save Percentage, and Total Saves.
