Bradford, PA – The United East conference recognized its top lacrosse players of the 2026 season last week, after the completion of competition. Pitt-Bradford’s men’s lacrosse team had 4 players recognized, as four Panthers earned 2nd team all-conference accolades. Attacker Luke Amberman, midfielder Sam Kemp, defenseman Alex Arno, and goalkeeper Hunter Shank were all honored.
Luke Amberman, a native of Olney, MD, had a historic freshman campaign at the tip of the Pitt-Bradford attack. The freshman scored 69 goals and added 24 assists in the season, giving him a total of 95 points on the season. He led the conference in goals, points, goals per game, points per game, and shots per game, while also finishing 5th in assists per game. He was 7th in the country in goals per game.
Sam Kemp, a freshman from Stewartstown, PA, was voted as the team’s top midfielder. Kemp tallied 18 goals and 8 assists, while also picking up 48 ground balls and causing 18 turnovers.
Alex Arno, a sophomore from Fallston, MD, earned his second all-conference honor in as many years. The defender led the conference in caused turnovers per game at 1.88 and was tied in total caused turnovers. He also totaled 36 ground balls at the heart of a Pitt-Bradford defense that finished the regular season 62nd in the country in scoring defense.
Junior goalkeeper Hunter Shank made his first All-Conference appearance for the Panthers. Shank led the United East in saves per game (13.47) and save percentage (.586). He was also second in goals against average at 11.18.
The Panthers finished their second competitive season with an 11-6 record, good for third place in the United East.
