Clinton, OH -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford golf team wrapped up its Fall season on Tuesday at the 2nd Round of the Region V Showcase Tournament at Catawba Island Golf Club. The Panthers struggled to repeat their day one performances, posting a score of 350 to drop into 11th place.
Evan Steffen had the low round for Pitt-Bradford, posting an 84. Brady Susi repeated his first-round performance and posted a final round of 88. Nathan Close and Michael Peterson closed out the scoring for the Panthers, each posting 89s. Max Bizzak missed out on the top four spots, shooting a 91, while Levi Howard was the only Panther to improve on his score from the first round, cutting 2 strokes off his score to post a 93.
Steffen finishes tied for 37th at the event with a two-round score of 165. Peterson finished four strokes behind him in 44th at 169. Close posted a 172 to finish tied for 52nd, while Bizzak was a stroke behind him in 57th. Susi shot a 176 to finish 61st, and Howard was in 67th at 188.
With the end of the event, the Panthers have completed the fall portion of their schedule. They won one event, the Saint Vincent Invitational, and finished 4th at the AMCC Championships. They are currently scheduled for two events in the Spring Semester.
