Rodriguez Named AMCC Player of the Week

Bradford, PA -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team had one of its players recognized by the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference on Monday, as junior guard Jeremy Rodriguez was named the conference's top performer last week.

Rodriguez led Pitt-Bradford to a 2-0 week, averaging 20.5 points, 3.5 assists, and 5.0 steals per game. He was able to close out the two comeback victories for the Panthers, making 20 of 22 free throws over the two games as he led the charge in erasing double-digit deficits in both games. In the win over Grove City, he scored 21 points, while tallying four rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

This is the second time Rodriguez has won the award, as he picked up the honor once last season.

The Panthers are off to a 4-1 start to their season and will head to Thanksgiving break after tonight's home game against Geneva. Tipoff is slated for 7.
