Murak and Stadler Named AMCC Athletes of the Week

Bradford, PA -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford had two student-athletes recognized by the AMCC on Monday, as Amber Murak and Maddox Stadler were named athletes of the week.

Murak was selected as the conference's Women's Basketball Player of the Week. She averaged 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.5 steals per game for the Panthers last week. Murak started the week off with 16 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals in a close loss to Hilbert. On Saturday, in the season-ending win over Pitt-Greensburg, Murak scored 24 points to go along with four steals and two assists.

This was Amber's first career conference Player of the Week award. She is the first women's basketball player to earn the honor since November of 2023.

Stadler was named the conference's Pitcher of the Week. He picked up a win over Bethany for Pitt-Bradford on opening weekend. In his start, he went 5.0 innings, allowing one earned run. He allowed just six runners to reach, giving up four hits and two walks while striking out one.

It is also Stadler's first career Athlete of the Week award. He is the first Panther to be recognized since Shawn Mannering and Maxwell Rogers were each selected in March of 2025.
