BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford soccer teams are heading to Penn State-Behrend for mid-week Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matches Tuesday.
The Panthers women's team is riding a two-game winning streak, most recently pulling off a thrilling comeback against La Roche Saturday.
Down 2-0 early in the second half, the Panthers scored three unanswered goals to take a 3-2 win at the Kessel Athletic Complex.
Prior to Saturday's comeback, the Panthers earned their first conference win, 9-0, over Hilbert.
The pair of consecutive wins brings the Panthers' AMCC record to 2-2-1 and 3-8-1 overall. Pitt-Bradford remains in the conference playoff picture, holding sixth place over Pitt-Greensburg (2-2).
Shade scored four goals in the win, the most any Panther has scored in a single game since Melissa Smith scored the same amount against Hilbert on Oct. 28, 2014.
On the week, Shade scored five total goals and assisted two and was fittingly named the AMCC's Offensive Player of the Week.
Her eight total goals are the fourth most in the AMCC, while her seven goals and 17 points in conference play both rank second.
In goal, Emily Bethel's 96 total saves are fourth-most in the conference while her 1078:47 total minutes are second-most in the conference.
On the men's side, the Panthers are coming off a week in which they defeated Hilbert 4-0 Wednesday and fell to La Roche 4-3 Saturday.
The Panthers own a 2-3 record in AMCC contests so far this season and a 3-10 overall mark.
Pitt-Bradford enters the week in the conference playoff picture, holding sixth place in the AMCC.
In Wednesday's win, Ugwunna Amadi led the way with a pair of goals -- one in each half -- to help power the Panthers' offense.
He scored again Saturday in the second half, putting the Panthers ahead 3-2 at the time.
On the season, Chase Rider continues to lead the team with five goals while Amadi and Ryuta Hayakawa are next with three each.
Hayakawa leads the team with 12 points, his six assists ranking second in the AMCC.
Penn State-Behrend's women's team welcomes Pitt-Bradford with a perfect 4-0 marks in AMCC action. The Lions own the conference's two leading goal scorers, Brenna McGuire (10) and Emily Indof (nine).
The Lions' men's team welcomes the Panthers with a 2-0-1 AMCC record. Ryan Maurer is the team's leading scorer with four goals.
The women's game will kick off the doubleheader at 5 p.m. with the men's game coming after around 7 p.m.
