Bradford, PA -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Softball program has announced a prospect camp for softball players in grades 10 through 12. The one day camp is meant for players who are looking to play softball at the collegiate level. It will be held on Sunday, October 13th between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, on the Softball Field at the Kessel Athletic Complex. A rain date of October 20th, has been set in the event of inclement weather.
The camp is meant to emphasize all skills and fundamentals of the game of Softball. Participants will learn skills and techniques used by the Pitt-Bradford Softball coaches and will feature instruction of pitching, catching, fielding, hitting and game situations. The camp will be led by the Panther coaching staff and team and will include a tour of Campus. Participants must provide their own lunch, however Gatorade and water will be provided.
Participation in the camp will cost $75.00. Registration will be limited to the first 40 paid participants. To register for the camp, mail a completed application and a check payable to University of Pittsburgh to Tina Phillips, 300 Campus Drive, Bradford, PA 16701. Registration for the event will begin at 9:30 AM at the Softball Complex.
