BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford softball program will host its winter hitting camp in three Sunday sessions taking place on Jan. 28, Feb. 4 and Feb. 11, Head Coach Tina Phillips announced.
The camp will cost $30 for one session or $75 for all three sessions.
The hitting camp for players in grades 4-12 will focus on the fundamentals of hitting, bunting and slapping using with different hitting drills and one-on-one instruction.
Registration is limited to the first 36 participants, and all must pre-register by Monday, Jan. 22, with mail-in payment. Registration will take place a half-hour before the start of each session at the Richard E. and Ruth McDowell Sport and Fitness Center located on Campus Drive.
Participants are required to bring tennis shoes, a bat and helmet. Batting gloves are recommended.
