BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford baseball team will host a two-session prospect camp on Jan. 21, 2018, at the Ruth E. & Richard McDowell Sport and Fitness Center, Head Coach Zach Foster announced.
One individual session costs $30 and both sessions cost $50.
The first session for pitchers and catchers will focus on establishing a throwing program, key points to live by, mechanical cues off the mound and the pitcher/catcher relationship.
The day's second session for hitters will focus on approach at the plate, the mental side of hitting, visualization and hitting fundamentals.
Covered in each session will be the importance of baseball-specific strength and conditioning.
Also included in the day's itinerary is a meet-and-greet with current Pitt-Bradford baseball players and coaches.
A campus tour followed by lunch will take place between sessions.
Participants are asked to bring tennis shoes, their glove and a bat if they have a preference. Catchers must bring their own gear, as catching equipment will not be provided.

Session I for pitchers and catchers will begin at 10 a.m. while session II for hitters will begin at 2 p.m. Registration will be open at 9 a.m.
