BRADFORD, Pa. -- Freshman Kelsey Hammons of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's bowling team has been named a Pitt-Bradford Athlete of the Week for her performance from Nov. 6-12.
Hammons was the most consistent bowler for the Panthers this week, helping Pitt-Bradford to a third-place finish in the AMCC Match.
Her 16.85 baker average on the first day of action was the best on the team, and her 16.10 was second best on Sunday.
On the week, she posted a 16.34 baker average with a team average of 169.5 pins.
In Thursday's match at Saint Vincent, her 183 pins the second game of the team format was the top performance for the Panthers.
