BRADFORD, Pa. -- Senior guard Ali Rinfrette of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team has been named a Pitt-Bradford Athlete of the Week for her performance during the period of Feb. 11-18.
Rinfrette became the first 2,000-point scorer in Pitt-Bradford women's basketball history Wednesday.
She scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for a double-double to help the Panthers to a win over Penn State-Altoona in their final regular season home game.
The Bradford native then dropped 28 points -- 13 in the fourth quarter -- to hold off Pitt-Greensburg and end the regular season with a victory.
She also played all 80 total minutes during the team's two games.
